Vision-Senior Section
Al Ghad Al Mushriq under the flagship of Beaconhouse School System which is one of the largest education system of its kind in the world, having an aim to light the lamp of knowledge in the young spirits to encounter the world of realities with fortitude and determination. BSS is known for its state of the art infrastructure and facilities, providing a multi cultural environment that stimulates student learning. Our students are well equipped not only in the arena of academics but  also sports and co- curricular activities.

We believe in empowering our students with quality education and prepare them to be leaders and visionaries who help in shaping a better world. Having started with the IGCSE Program, we are working towards progressing to having the AS and A level, together with the option of IB Program.

Having a team of subject specialist, we aim to provide tailor made Professional Development Courses to teachers, empowering them with the right attitude and direction.

Teaching Philosophy
Classroom instruction at Al Ghad Al Mushriq Private School is student-driven, but facilitated by the teacher, with an emphasis on investigative inquiry and deliberative dialogue. Inspired by the concepts of diversity and global citizenship, we create an inclusive educational environment in which every view is discussed with interest and compassion. This is an ambitious goal that requires each student to be thoughtfully prepared for his or her daily lessons

Teaching Environment
Our School has fully furbished Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories used by staff and students supported by experienced professional staff.  These labs are well-equipped with equipment’s and appliances and lab preparation section. The laboratories are designed to observe health and safety standards.

Accreditation and Affiliation
Our is accredited by the CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL EXAMINATION (CIE) With a mission to equip our students with internationally recognized qualifications so that they can be more competitive in this globalized society. The Secondary Education at BSS is designed to support its students in becoming:

• engaged intellectually and socially, ready to make a difference.

The Secondary Education starts from Grade VI, preparing students towards the International General Certificate of Secondary Education- IGCSE Program in Grade IX & X. The students select subjects that they wish to pursue. English and Mathematics being compulsory subjects, students are required to choose 3 Elective Subjects. It is mandatory for Omani Nationals to choose Arabic, Social Studies and Islamiyat. Likewise, Pakistani Nationals who intend to pursue further education in Pakistan must choose Urdu, Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies.

Students will take up the IGCSE examinations at the end of Grade X and gradually progress towards AS and A Level qualifications.

•  English and Mathematics are the Compulsory Subjects
•  All students who plan to continue further studies in Oman or anywhere else, except Pakistan are expected to choose 4 subjects from Option A
•  Students who intend to pursue their education in Pakistan need to choose any 3 subjects from option A and all subjects from option B.
•  All Pakistani parents who do not intend to opt for Option B need to sign an Undertaking for the same
•  Option C is compulsory for all Omani Nationals
•  Omani Nationals will select 3 subjects from Option A and all subjects from Option C.
